Creatures & Symbols in Our Landscape

When a land mass, tree, or rock you pick up takes on an identity, always ask yourself about what you see, its energy, and its way of life.
For example, this black lava landmass looks like an elephant to most folks. What are the characteristics of the elephant? It is slow, patient, family-oriented and doesn’t forget much.
You can apply this idea to yourself in the form of a question(s):
- Am I patient?
- Am I paying enough attention to my family?
- Who in my family do I need to be more patient with?
- What past event(s) happened to me that is still in my memory to this day?
- Do I hurry too much and should I slow down?
- Am I too slow reacting to some thing(s) in my life?
See how this works. If I am led to a place where I can identify it, then this is what I do: I reflect back to myself and always get really good answers to the questions I pose—they are reminders. They are markers of where I am at presently. They are a measuring tape for me to look at myself and see if I’m at one end or the other, instead of in the middle—which would indicate balance of my energy and emotions.
Try it sometime should you synchronistically run into such an experience. You’ll be surprised.
Sometimes you will see a “face” or an “animal” (or something else) in the bark of a tree trunk, or perhaps a dragon’s head at the end of a branch. The world is alive all around us only if we would pay attention and not always be distracted by an electronic device.
You miss over half of what is surrounding you this way. Put the cell phone away. Only use it to take a photo of something that you see in the landscape where you are standing.
