A portal is a doorway or entrance, but to what? A portal can be created by an androgynous vortex because it is in balance, a fusion of male and female energy. It can also be caused by the geology of an area that has no vortex; or, it can be created by energy lines crisscrossing one another as an adjunct to the geology of the area.
