FREE GIFT: Walking the Land Worksheet!
I created this worksheet out in the field when I ran into something I didn’t know, or something that I needed to know. Over the years, it was created, one walking the land journey after another.
You can download the PDF here:
This is not a simple beginner’s worksheet; rather an advanced document created over time with an accumulation of years of experience walking the land. You, as a beginner, can answer what you’re able to on the worksheet. It might not be as much as I might put down, but that doesn’t matter. What is important is to get the details of your investigation, your communication with that spirit guardian. Plus, any photos you take (I encourage this) or drawings you make (everyone can draw so don’t be shy!)
What matters is that you are utilizing it, and it will actually help you go step-by-step in connecting with “all our relations,” such as a tree, a flower, a bush, a rock, a stream, river, or Mother Ocean. This worksheet can be applied to anything that you come into conscious contact with. And, over time, you may add more to the worksheet, yourself!
You’ll note it says: Appendix D at the top of it. That’s because it was written to go along with the book, WALKING THE LAND by Eileen Nauman. If you don’t have the book, you can still use this worksheet. The book, however, explains the “why” of these questions that are asked (and answered by the being you are working with), plus any background information from my experience that I feel is helpful for you to understand the larger pattern. Knowledge is power.
The book is available in E-book on all platforms except Google. It is also available as a paperback at Amazon:
Let’s dig into the WORKSHEET!
BASIC DETAILS: these are simple but important pieces of information. If you have a cell phone, getting the GPS of where you’re working with a tree, bush, rock or whatever, becomes vitally important because you can forget where it is located. Especially if you’re out, walking in areas that are unfamiliar to you, such as woodlands or a forest, as examples.
The other important part of this is to ask yourself: are you on someone’s private property? Are you on state or national park land? Why is this important? Because if it is private property, it’s an absolute must to get PERMISSION from the OWNER to be on that swatch of land. I tell the landowner I’m a photographer and I’d like to take photos on their land. Do I have permission or not? I don’t get into WHAT else I’m going to do (which is to connect telepathically with the tree, bush or rock because most people will think you are tetched in the head so I don’t go there). Be nice to the landowner. I find complimenting them on the beauty of their land always helps (and be sincere about it). I will, if the land owner wants, give her/him copies of my photos I take and get an email from them. I ALWAYS carry business cards on me that say “Photographer”.
If you are in state or national parks? You need to know you can’t pick flowers or take anything, from that area. You can be fined for it if caught. So, take photos! That will be good enough.
You may or may not know the acreage you’ve walked on the land; so give your best guess and let it go at that.
GUARDIANS: your most important connection to the land and to yourself. You can’t usually do this work without spirit contact and most places have a guardian or a spirit who is responsible for that area. There’s a definite protocol for doing this as outlined on the worksheet. If you have the book? It is HOW TO GROUND, Appendix A, Page 158. You CANNOT do this work without knowing how to ground yourself!
All the rest of the questions on the worksheet are pretty self-explanatory. As I said before, if you can’t answer all of them? That’s all right. It may take you going back more than once to talk with this individual tree, bush, rock or stream, etc. Every time you do, you can fill out more on that original worksheet.
PHOTOS: are absolutely essential. There are times when you work with a tree, bush, rock or land mass, and you go back weeks, months or even years later, and it has changed. Note the changes/additions or anything new that you didn’t see before. If you have the original photos of the place, you can cross-compare them and note the differences. Also, if you post on Facebook, Instagram or other apps, having a photo(s) to go with your commentary and text, is always a plus. Seeing is believing.
