Walking the Land: Mysterious Rainbow over Brins Mesa, Sedona, Arizona
Hi Everyone Those who read my account of the rainbow at Rainbow Bridge in Sedona, AZ will be interested in this one.
Linda Haggard, one of my shamanic facilitators, lives in Sedona with her husband Eric. On January 2, 2009, they went for a hike at Brin’s Mesa in Sedona, Arizona. While they were on the trail, they saw this unusual and inexplicable rainbow. They were not the only ones who saw it, either.
When they saw my blog on our rainbow at Rainbow Bridge Trail, she sent me these photos. And gave me permission to publish them in my blog.
As you can see, it resembles the one Marty Reinstra and I saw on January 17th at Rainbow Bridge trail.
At the time, Linda said she was playing her flute for the spirits. And, as a gift, they were planting Daffodil bulbs here and there.
Here’s the photos:
She took a photo of this rainbow. The sky was clear. There were no clouds. The photo was taken in early afternoon. Humidity was low. All these things were the same for when we saw the rainbow at Rainbow Bridge Trail on 1.17.
This second photo was taken as a jet with a contrail was passing nearby. You can see the width of the rainbow–it was huge.
So, we have, yet, another mystery. I’ve hiked these trails around Sedona for 20 years and NEVER seen this occur. And now, Linda and Eric Haggard have photographic proof of it occurring over in Brin’s Mesa and Marty and I have ours for Rainbow Bridge Trail.
Comments? Thoughts? Something is happening, I’m sure….
In Spirit, Eileen
